Students enroll into AVID IS 1102 course (1 hour elective) that will introduce students to the use of the WICOR (writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization and reading) strategies and the AVID system. In addition to enrolling in the AVID IS 1102 course, students will participate in the AVID First Year Experience Program.
Students must be in their first year at TTU (whether freshman/undergraduate transfer)
To apply, visit our TTU Office of Academic Enrichment website and click on the AVID First Year Experience tab, scroll down to the bottom and click on the AVID membership application or you can stop by Doak Hall Room 118.
