The Honors and Awards Council, in conjunction with the Office of the Vice President for Research, is now accepting applications/nominations for The Spencer A. Wells Award for Creativity in Teaching, Hemphill Wells New Professor Excellence in Teaching Award, Faculty Distinguished Leadership Award, and the Barnie E. Rushing Jr., Faculty Distinguished Research Award.

The submission deadline for all four awards is Tuesday, November 21st. Please review award eligibility, process and requirements as provided in Operating Policy 32.24 prior to submitting a nomination. It is highly advised that nominators coordinate with the respective college and department as appropriate to avoid any confusion or duplication of efforts.
