Register for the Second Annual Quail Management Symposium Now!
Symposium participants will learn practical steps to quail management on rangeland and be able to ask specific questions as they interact with experts in wildlife habitat management. The half-day symposium is sponsored by Park Cities Quail and presented by the NRHC and Quail-Tech Alliance. Seating is limited. The event will feature five presenters with extensive wildlife management experience and include a bird dog training demonstration as well as a chuck wagon lunch for participants.
 
Presenters will include:
 
  • Dr. Brad Dabbert, Burnett Foundation Endowed Professor of Quail Ecology at Texas Tech University
  • Keith Blair, founder of Red Buffalo LLC, a land stewardship company specializing in prescribed fire for wildlife habitat management, restoration, and wildfire prevention 
  • Matthew Coffman, Grazing Lands Specialist with the Southern Rolling Plains Grazing Lands Coalition, Natural Resource Conservation Service
  • John McLaughlin, West Texas Quail Program Leader, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department
  • Gabe Gaudern, Ranch Wildlife Manager, Tongue River Ranch
