PSS 2401 - Introductory Entomology Offered Summer I
Do you want to learn about the most species-rich group of animals on Earth and learn how to build an insect collection?  If the answer is yes, consider registering for Introductory Entomology (PSS 2401) during the summer I session.  The course consists of both lectures and field-based laboratories, providing students the opportunity to learn about the important relationships between insects and humans.  During the course, and emphasis will be on field methods for the quantitative and qualitative study of insect communities, including conventional methods, insect photography and apps such as iNaturalist.  Come join the fun in learning about the other dominant animal!

This course will satisfy 4 hours of your required 8 hours of Life and Physical Science Core Curriculum Requirement.
