As a part of our regular Advanced IT Security Training, the TTU IT Division will host a focused session targeting endpoint security and management. The TTU IT Division invites all Network Site Coordinators and campus IT professionals (IT Support Specialists, IT Support Technicians, Programmer Analysts, Server Administrators, and related staff) to this Advanced Security Training and NSC meeting on Wednesday, June 20 that will focus on the following topics:
- Overview of the Global Threat Landscape
- Overview of the TTU Threat Landscape
- Focused Session on KACE Endpoint Management by Quest Engineers
- NSC Meeting
Quest Engineers will provide high-level training, and will hold detailed, hands-on sessions on June 21 and 22. We have arranged for Quest Engineers to provide a four-hour training session at the Advanced Technology Learning Center (ATLC) in the West basement of the Library building, and they will repeat it four times to accommodate your schedules. We invite you to register for one of the following sessions, please email itevents@ttu.edu with your preferred day and time:
- Thursday, June 21 (PC2 – ATLC Room 21)
- Friday, June 22 (PC1 – ATLC Room 23)
For the Advanced Training Session on June 20, the TTU Office of the CIO will provide lunch; please RSVP by June 18 to itevents@ttu.edu to ensure that we have ample food for all attendees.
