Dante and Medieval Philosophy Honors Course in Fall 2018

Dr. Francesca di Poppa will be teaching an Honors section of PHIL 3341 on Dante and Medieval Philosophy in Fall 2018. Students will be reading parts of La Divina Commedia and other works (e.g. On Monarchy) and will connect them to debates during Dante’s lifetime on political philosophy, ethics, philosophy of religion, and philosophy of science. For those who have heard about Dante’s masterpieces, and are both curious and intimidated, here’s your chance to approach the topic in a philosophy friendly environment.

This course will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00-3:20 PM in English/Philosophy, Room 304. Please contact Honors@ttu.edu for a permit. Non-Honors students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to enroll.
