CLERY ACT DISCLOSURE NOTIFICATION
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the Texas Tech Police Department is giving a timely warning notice about a robbery that occurred near campus.
LUBBOCK POLICE DEPARTMENT CASE # 18-30918
On 8-16-18 at approximately 9:41 P.M, a robbery was reported to the Lubbock Police Department at the Valero Convenience Store located at 15th Street and University Avenue. Subject was described as a black male wearing a bag over his head, no shirt and black shorts. The subject held an unknown object to the back of the store employee. The subject was pepper sprayed by the store employee. The subject ran out of the store and continued to run northbound on University Avenue. It is unknown at this time if the subject had a weapon during the commission of the offense.
