Mountain Biking in New Mexico!
We will be riding some of the trails in Ruidoso, NM and encourage all skill levels to sign up! Any trip you take with us includes food, camping fees, camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad), and transportation.
You may bring your own mountain bike, but if you don't have one, you may rent one from us.

Learning Goals: Proper Mountain bike fit, gear shifting, rider awareness, riding techniques, and some aspects of Leave No Trace environmental ethics.

Prior Experience: Physical/Mental Challenge: Moderate to strenuous. Mountain biking requires your full attention and willingness to work hard. Uphills can be very strenuous and downhills can be really fast.

We welcome beginner and experienced riders! If you want to try out mountain biking before this trip, we also do weekly rides on Thursdays at 5:30pm. Meet in the Outdoor Pursuits Center at 5:15 and we will drive everyone out to Mae Simmons to work on skills. The weekly ride in Mae Simmons is always free.
So come out and join us!!

Come to the Outdoor Pursuits Center to sign up, or sign up online at https://www.depts.ttu.edu/recsports/opc/trips.php
