Join us for “Lightning Talks” in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 4 in the University Library’s Croslin Room (center).
Speakers will include Miguel Levario, associate professor in the Department of History; Idoia Elola, professor of Spanish in the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures; and Margie Olivarez, community activist and breast cancer survivor.
A Hispanic Heritage Month exhibit also will be featured in the Croslin Room through Oct. 15.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
