Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, presents the box office hit movie, Buen Día, Ramón on Friday, September 28, 2018. The 2015 highly acclaimed movie tells the heart warming story of a young man from a small Mexican town who finds himself stranded alone when he illegally travels to Germany to find work. Struggling to survive on the streets, he meets Ruth, a lonely senior citizen, with whom he develops an unlikely friendship that transcends borders and prejudices.
The movie will be shown from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in 351 Education Building. It will be viewed in Spanish with subtitles in English. As an Honor Society, Sigma Delta Pi organizes activities that are of very high academic value. The movie will be preceded by a discussion, and there will also be subtitles so that everybody can understand what is going on. This activity is intended to teach both language and culture. Pizza and drinks will be served . Everyone is welcome!
