Gender & Gender Identity Colloquium
Is gender relevant to the 21st Century? How do gender difference and power relations influence us? How do transgender and gender identities intersect with other identities?

Women's & Gender Studies announces a public colloquium, Gender & Gender Identity Colloquium, which will take place on the campus of Texas Tech University, Friday, October 12, 2018.  Our keynote speaker will be Mark Daniel Snyder, they/them/theirs, Director of Communications, Equality Federation.

Since its inception in 2009, the colloquium has served as a forum where speakers, discussants, presenters, panelist and the general audience can engage in vigorous exchanges centering on gender and gender identity in terms of empowerment and commitment to social justice.

A special thank you to the Office of LGBTQIA for their co-sponsorship of this event.
