Upon receiving your complimentary copy of “White Fragility” you agree to:
· Attend all four sessions within “Race, Racism & Public Spaces” series
· Write a thank you letter/note addressed to Beacon Press. Your thank you note/letter should entail the following:
1. Thank Beacon Press and Penguin Random House for gifting you a complimentary copy of Diangelo’s “White Fragility” as a student at TTU.
2. Note one thing from “White Fragility” that you found thought-provoking and that subsequently challenged your perspective and positioning.
3. Specify and explain how one aspect of the “Race, Racism & Public Spaces” series has helped you to grow both personally and professionally.
· Submit your thank you note in an UNSEALED envelope to Dr. Parker (College of Education Office #219) no later than 5 PM on Tuesday, May 14th. A copy of each thank you note will remain on file with Dr. Parker; all original notes/letters will be collectively mailed to Beacon Press.
