Accepting Applications for Student Assistant position for Research Assitance

Dr. Eric Walden’s Lab is currently accepting applications for a paid student assistant position entailing 10 hours per week of research related work. The lab is part of the Management Information Systems (MIS) program in the Rawls College of Business. In this position, you will be working directly under the supervision of PhD student Kevin Harmon. You need at least a 3.3 GPA to apply. Lab work may involve data collection, literature searches, preparing research materials, and running subjects for experiments. Current lab projects include investigation of the gender gap in information technology careers, stereotypes of IT professionals, and the neuroscience of technology use. We are looking for a student who is dependable, responsible, and interested in participating in and learning about research. Experience with Qualtrics, Amazon’s Mechanical Turk, literature reviews, data collection, or coding/programming is a plus but not required.
