Course Description:
A comparative study of systems of higher education throughout the world and their counterparts in the United States.
Course Purpose:
The course is designed to provide individuals interested in a career in higher education a grounding in the development of U.S. higher education in a global context. The overarching concern of the course is to help students understand how the development of higher education in various parts of the world compares to similar events in U.S. colleges and universities.
