As part of TTUHSC’s ongoing Microsoft 365 migration project, Texas Tech University (Texas Tech) and TTUHSC IT are working to improve email security between both institutions.
Beginning Aug. 20, 2025, email between Texas Tech and TTUHSC will be routed through each institution’s Internet-facing anti-spam and anti-phishing services.
The addition of this filtering may result in some legitimate communication being flagged as spam.
To ensure your communications are managed correctly, the following steps are recommended:
- Ask your frequent collaborators at TTUHSC to add your email to their personal whitelist to ensure appropriate delivery.
- Check your “Junk Email” folder regularly to ensure legitimate email from TTUHSC has not been incorrectly flagged.
- Add email addresses to your Outlook contacts or safe senders list:
- If you feel your email to a TTUHSC recipient has not been received, please call that individual to ask them to check their spam folder.
