Intercultural Education & Engagement, a university department, seeks a Graduate Assistant for a part-time position for 15-20 hours per week. The position starts as early as June17th and continue to the beginning of Fall Semester 2024.
Duties include: Facilitating and implementing the Peer Support Ambassador programming, sessions, and events and Raider Education. Assist with hiring, training, and supervision of Raider Education Peer Educators. Maintain budget reports, assist with procurement, purchasing, and all other accounting /budget Participate in outreach campaigns to inform future and current Red Raiders on resources, programs, and services provided through the Peer Support Ambassador Program and Raider Education.
Clerical duties may include answering phones and general office duties. Must be able to work quickly and accurately with a strong attention to detail. Excellent face-to-face and telephone customer service are crucial as well as strong organizational skills.
Hours will primarily be during the 8:00 am-5:00pm workday during Summer; subject to change during Fall with weekend and evening requirements.
Qualifications:
· Must be a currently enrolled Texas Tech graduate student.
· Must be enrolled Full Time at Texas Tech.
· Must maintain a 3.0 GPA per semester.
· Be able to dedicate 15-20 hours a week to the IEE GA position.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
