TTUHSC OIA Lecture - 2012 International Predictions

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) invites you to attend an ongoing lecture series on world health. The lectures will be held every first and third Wednesday of the month at 12:00 noon CST. Invited guest speakers will share their experience and work involving global health issues. Everyone is invited to attend. Free lunch will be provided to the first 35 attendees.

Ambassador Tibor P. Nagy, Jr. currently serves as Vice Provost for International Affairs at Texas Tech University. Previously he served as the U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia (1999-2002) and Ambassador to Guinea (1996-1999). Over the years Ambassador Nagy has lived or worked in Zambia, Seychelles, Ethiopia, Cameroon, and Nigeria.

Join us as we glean from Ambassador Nagy’s knowledgeable commentary on the political shifts occurring on the international front. He will also share his predictions for the new year.

*Lectures originating at the Lubbock campus will no longer be linked, but they will be recorded for viewing on the OIA website.
