Microsoft Database Problem Impacting Several BlackBoard Courses - Update
The BlackBoard Management Team continues to work with Microsoft Support Engineers to address the database corruption issue.  Microsoft Engineers will be in Lubbock Tuesday morning to assist with restoring our content from the corrupted database.  This work requires that BlackBoard Services be unavailable, but Microsoft is unable to provide us a definitive estimate, so BlackBoard services may be unavailable for more than a day.  Note that the Office of the Provost and Registrar have extended the grade submission deadline until Monday, July 15th. 


Maintenance on Blackboard services began this morning, July 9, at 9:00 am.  As a result of this, BlackBoard Services are currently not available.  We will keep you closely updated as the engineers make progress in restoring faculty content, grades, and assignments.  We appreciate your patience and partnership!
