Auditions will be held for this semester Raider Red’s One-Act Play Spectacular (RROAPS), a collection of one-act plays written, directed, performed, designed, and organized by Texas Tech students. The first round of auditions will be held from 3pm-6pm in the Laboratory Theatre on Friday, January 17th, and callbacks will be held from 12pm-5pm in the Laboratory Theatre on Saturday, January 18th. Cast lists will be posted in the Theatre building on Sunday, January 19th. Any full time undergraduate or graduate student may audition.
To sign up, please put your name down for a slot on the callboard in the Theatre building and pick up an audition form from the callboard starting on Monday, January 6th. For the first round of auditions, you must prepare a 90-second contemporary monologue and bring eleven (11) copies of your audition form with a resume attached to each copy.
Callbacks will be posted in the Theatre building by 8pm after the first round of auditions is concluded. Each play will have an hour to conduct callbacks during the following day and will list what time the callback will take place and what, if anything, will be required for the callback.
Cast lists will be posted the following afternoon. Please note that the production runs March 31st – April 6th and requires several weeks of rehearsal prior to performance.
