Microsoft Lync 2010 Software
Our reports suggest that a number of Texas Tech employees have not upgraded to the newer version of Lync, so we are extending the deadline by one week and offer assistance to prevent a potential disruption to your work. Lync 2010 clients will no longer work after Wednesday, April 23, 2014. As previously announced, the new Lync 2013 clients are currently available to upgrade from Lync 2010 to the Lync 2013 client. To update your Lync client, visit the Lync 2013 for Windows website, and you will be guided through the process. If you have questions, please contact IT Help Central at 806-742-4357 (HELP) or ithelpcentral@ttu.edu.

If you have already updated to Lync 2013, no further action is required. Thank you for helping us keep TTU’s information resources secure and up-to-date!

Note: If you are using Lync 2011 for Mac or the Lync Attendant Console, no action is necessary at this time. Upgrades to those applications will be announced as they become available in the future.
