Ever thought about ACTING in television or film?

Acting for the Camera - offered this Summer II!  Explore basics of being in front of a camera. 

Inside info on the casting process, film and television soundstages, commercial auditions, cold reading and more.  Open to all levels of experience and to all students.  No Prerequisites.  Course number THA 3311, CRN 68688, 3 credit hours.  Time TBA.

Instructor Randall Rapstine has appeared on numerous television shows, including Frasier, Angel, Roswell and Boston Legal

He assisted casting of major motion pictures such as Men In Black, Snow Falling on Cedars and Washington Square, among others, for renowned casting directors David Rubin and Deborah Zane.

Other notable credits include:

Assisted casting of numerous television programs with legendary casting professionals Lucy Cavallo and Holly Powell.

Assistant to the Producer at The Vineyard Playhouse on Martha's Vineyard.

Past Artistic Director for Los Angeles' The MET Theatre.

Toured extensively in the United States with his original two–man comedy Common Knowledge, written with Doug Budin.

Directed Margaret Cho's Off–Broadway burlesque review The Sensuous Woman

Assistant to producer John Glines on the Pulitzer Prize and Tony award-winning Broadway production As Is.

Traveled to Russia as a goodwill and artistic ambassador with The Barter Theatre of Virginia in the world premiere play The Angels’ Share by J. Kline.
