The minority association of Premedical Scholars is the undergraduate chapter of SNMA. SNMA is the Student National Medical Association in the Texas Tech Medical School. The goal of the Texas Tech MAPS chapter is to diversify the face of medicine. You do NOT have to be a minority to join. Our first meeting will be at 7 pm in the Mass Communications building (room 67). We will be having two guest speakers, Dr. Peck (dean of admissions) and Dr. Burke (the dean of Texas Tech School of Medicine). Special opportunities for upperclassmen and freshmen will be revealed at the meeting.There will be a question box at the entrance to answer your questions about medical school, MCAT 2015, etc. Not Pre-med? Come for the new volunteer opportunities with the hospital & medical school presented to MAPS members. Bring your friends and find out what we are about! The medical school admissions board will be in attendance. See you there!
