Group NIRE (National Institute for Renewable Energy) and Texas Tech University are set to host the inaugural workshop for synchrophasor testing and validation for the smart grid on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Texas Tech University. Industry leaders representing the synchrophasor community will speak about new concepts, challenges and opportunities for the phasor measurement units. All students are highly encouraged to attend the free event and network with leaders in the energy sector.
