The honor of Top Ten Freshmen was created in Fall 2014, when Mortar Board decided it wanted to find a way to recognize even the youngest students on Texas Tech's campus. The Top Ten Freshmen will be standout students in whom Mortar Board sees promising potential for future goals and contributions to Texas Tech and the Lubbock community. Freshmen with a 3.25 GPA or higher for the Fall 2014 semester are eligible to apply.
Instructions are listed on the application, which can be located on the TTU Mortar Board website at https://www.orgs.ttu.edu/mortar-board/Scholarship.html.
