Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) & Alumni Association present “Privacy in the Digital Age: How do Companies Use Information and How do You Protect Yourself?” February 3 from 2-3:30pm


Businesses and their marketing departments have an incredible amount of information on consumers today. Companies like Facebook want to share users' information while companies like Home Depot and Target have had their information on consumers compromised. This session will explore what companies do with the data on consumers and how we can protect ourselves in the digital age. The instructor is Dr. Debra A. Laverie, a Professor of Business and the Senior Associate Dean of the Rawls College of Business.
