To: All the students residing in Texas Tech Residence Halls!!!
IT Help Central offers a unique service to all the residents living on campus. Residence Hall Support (RHS) is a group within IT Help Central that exists to ensure those living on campus are able to utilize all the IT services offered by Texas Tech University. From January 6, 2008 to January 18, 2008, RHS will be conducting walk-through support for each residence hall.
What is Walk-Through Support?
In this two week period, we will be doing a walk-through of all the residence halls. RHS will come by each residence hall four times so we can ensure that we are able to meet your busy schedule. Texas Tech residents will receive a green sheet of paper and a red and black hanging door tag from their respective residence halls.
What do you have to do?
- Look on the green sheet and find a time when RHS will be coming by.
- Make sure you have the red and black door tag hanging on the outside of your door.
- Be available and in your room when an RHS technician comes by.
RHS will simply knock on your door and assist you right then and there. You don’t have to make an appointment, just make sure your door tag has the red side facing out.
What if I didn’t receive a schedule or a door tag?
Check with the front office of your residence hall, as they may have some extras on hand. If they don’t, simply click on the links below for the respective document and just print it out.
