Darkness to Light is a national nonprofit organization committed to increasing public
awareness of child sexual abuse. This informational training workshop, Stewards of Children,
is designed to teach participants how to safeguard children in an effort to prevent child
sexual abuse. This program will educate adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly
to child sexual abuse.
Child molesters are not strangers. In more than 90% of sexual abuse cases, the child and the
child’s family know and trust the abuser. 1 out of 4 girls and 1 out of 6 boys are sexually
abused by the age of 18.
Registrations will take place December 17th through January 25th. Seating is limited to the first 50 people, so please register early to reserve your seat.
