The state of Texas has a new initiative to strengthen marriages. Research shows that if couples take part in a premarital education class it will increase the likelihood of their marital success.
The Texas Tech Relationship Education Initiative will host a FREE 8-hour premarital course on Saturday, December 13th from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Participants will learn:
• Communication Skills
• Conflict Resolution Skills
• Other essential marriage skills and wisdom
Upon your completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion which waives the $60 marriage license fee and, more importantly, you will learn valuable marriage skills and information to help evaluate and strengthen your relationship. Singles, dating, and married couples welcome too!
Other courses will be available in the future.
