PSY 5350 History and Systems of Psychology
This course will cover the development of the field of psychology from ancient times, through German and English philosophers and physiologists, then the modern schools of structuralism, functionalism, behaviorism, Gestalt, information processing, and contemporary cognitive psychology. Experimental and clinical perspectives will be discussed.
Consent of instructor is required for non-psychology graduate students.
