Attention TTU Employees with a University Assigned Laptops!

All university staff and faculty who use university equipment that has a TTU inventory tag must submit an Offsite Property Form in the Property Inventory System for the equipment if it is permanently used off campus, moved to and from campus (such as a laptop) or if equipment is frequently moved around campus.

Offsite Property Forms are required to “check out” equipment from the University by policy (TTU OP 63.08, Property Management). Up-to-date asset records also help departments during inventory reviews/annual certifications and reduces the number of assets mistakenly reported missing.

Please work with your department Property Custodian or Delegate if you have questions on when or how to submit a form. The department Property Custodian or Delegate is responsible for approving the form submissions within the Property Inventory System.
