This 8-week online FCSE 3315 course (CRN 50364) that will be offered in Fall 2025 explores the application of practical reasoning to ethical decision-making in the context of AI and its impact on human life. Students will engage in critical thinking and reflective practices, leveraging the principles of practical reasoning to address the complex challenges posed by AI technologies. The course emphasizes the need for AI to serve human well-being, aligning technical innovation with social, cultural, and ethical considerations. Through case studies, discussions, and projects, students will develop skills to navigate the nuanced intersection of AI systems and human values.
