Harbinger Literary Magazine Submissions
For an aspiring writer or artist, whether you are a poet, a fiction or non-fiction author, a painter, a photographer, or work in any other medium, having your work published, seeing your name in print, can be one of the most important and enjoyable experiences for the start of your career. Harbinger, the undergraduate literary magazine, is an excellent place to get that start. With the chance to have your work printed alongside the brightest artistic minds of your peers in a professionally printed journal that can be used as a great portfolio or resume builder, submitting to Harbinger is an opportunity you simply can't pass up. So send in those submissions!

Submission Guidelines:

All submissions must be sent by email:

For poetry submissions: (poetry editor)
For prose submissions: (prose editor)
For art/photography submissions: (head editor)

All written submissions should be single-spaced.

Poetry submissions should be no longer than 3 pages, Prose submissions should be no longer than 10 pages.

If you wish to submit multiple pieces in the same genre, please include them in a single document.

If you wish to submit pieces in separate genres, please place them in separate attached documents.

All art/photography submissions should include the highest quality scans possible.

Please include a return email address if you wish to be contacted at an address other than your techmail address. You may also include a phone number or other contact information.

Once again, the submission deadline is November 1st. All selections will be made within the following month.
