University Symphony Orchestra presents "Hope Springs Eternal"
Join the Texas Tech University Symphony Orchestra in their second concert of the Spring 2018 semester. Conducted by Maestro Philip Mann, the symphony will be performing Jim Stephenson's Concerto No.3 for Trumpet "Concerto for Hope" performed by TTU's very own Dr. Andrew Stetson, assistant professor of trumpet, followed by Ottorino Respighi's Fontane di Roma (Fountains of Rome).

The concerto (Stephenson's "Concerto for Hope") is being professionally recorded as part of a scheduled release on the MSR Classics Label entitled "New American Works for Trumpet." This project has been partially funded by the Talkington College of Visual and Performing Arts Dean's Advancing Creative Scholarship Award, as well as the TTU Office of the Provost Scholarship Catalyst Program.
