Graduate Student/ Post-Doc Women Mentoring Program

Attention all TTU graduate student and post-doc women! You are invited to apply the Graduate Student and Post-Doc Women Mentoring Program using the link below. This program is sponsored by the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Graduate School, the President’s Gender Equity Council, the Office of Graduate and Post-Doctoral Affairs, and Women’s and Gender Studies.

The purpose of the mentoring program is to prepare graduate student and post-doc women for successful careers in academia and the industry by providing mentoring opportunities with women faculty members and women in higher administration. We will accept 30 graduate student/ post-doc women into the program who will be mentored in groups of one professor with two students.

The program will consist of the following elements:
March 23rd, 7-8:30 pm: Mentoring Dinner at the Lubbock Women's Club
March 24th-May 3rd: Six weeks of mentoring (The mentoring groups will decide during the dinner on March 23rd how they will structure these six weeks)
May 4th, 9-10:30 am: Mentoring Breakfast at the TLPDC.

Applications are due Tuesday, March 20th at 5pm. You will be informed about acceptance into the program Wednesday, March 21st. To apply please follow this link: Graduate/ Post-Doc Women Mentoring Application.
