Zoom engineers have resolved the issue, and customers are now able to join Zoom meetings and webinars. Note that this is the first time TTU has experienced a widespread partial outage of Zoom, and we will monitor the application closely for any further interruptions in service. As this platform is being used for teaching and other critical meetings and the global usage for Zoom has increased with the pandemic, the TTU IT Division recommends that faculty and staff have a backup plan to switch to another platform, such as Blackboard Collaborate Ultra or Microsoft Teams, should that become necessary.
