Thank you for agreeing to participate in this research study about the effects of the stress of COVID on new mothers and their feeding, care, and vaccination decisions. The goal of this research it so increase our knowledge of choices new parents have made during COVID-19 specific to feeding choices (e.g. providing human milk or artificial milk) and vaccinations. What we learn maybe used to help parent support programs such as medical personnel, educators, and lactation support professionals in working with new parents and making care decisions for their infant. We plan to present research findings in future presentations as well as publish widely.

The survey, completed online through the Qualtrics website, should take no more than 15 minutes depending on the length of your answers. Average expected time to complete is 10 minutes.

How will I benefit from participating? In addition to providing the researchers with valuable information, your experience may help others, parent support professionals, and medical professionals.

Can I quit if I become uncomfortable? Yes, absolutely. Your participation is voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks in participating in this research.
