Service is one of the ways faculty, staff and students can give back to the local community. Campus Access & Engagement hosts local non-profit organizations on campus each month through the “Community on Campus Gain and Go” initiative to share information regarding volunteering opportunities within the community. This month’s organization will be the Volunteer Center of Lubbock (VCL).
The VCL’s mission is to connect, empower, and transform the community through purposeful volunteerism, and leadership development. Stop by the Student Enrichment Center, Wednesday, October 16th from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. to learn how you can get involved.
