Explore the ephemeral nature of dreams in DanceTech: Dream, a spring dance concert presented by the School of Theatre & Dance.
In this year’s DanceTech, we invite the audience to step into an otherworldly space where time flows in unpredictable rhythms, and identities shift like fleeting images. We are thrilled to present a new collection of choreography by Texas Tech dance faculty, alongside guest artists David Olarte and Carla Leon, Arizona’s foremost salsa dance teachers and award-winning choreographer/performance artist Helanius J. Wilkins. Join us for a thrilling dance concert where the audience is invited to lose themselves in a world of imagination, sensation, and transformation.
Public performances are February 27 – March 2 in the Charles E. Maedgen, Jr. Theatre located at 2812 18th St.
Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday – Saturday and 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets for DanceTech: DREAM are $10 for TTU faculty and staff and $5 students with a valid student ID. A limited number of free student reserve tickets will be handed out 1-hour prior to each performance (TTU student ID required).
