TTU Information Technology is excited to announce that Personal Bookings—a subset of Microsoft Bookings—has been enabled for all TTU students, faculty, and staff! Microsoft Bookings is part of Texas Tech University's
Microsoft 365 subscription. Bookings makes scheduling and managing appointments with students, instructors, and colleagues a breeze.
Personal Bookings (also called Bookings with me) allows you to easily configure and share your availability, and you are in control of how others can choose to meet with you. Personal Bookings empowers you to create and manage your personal schedules in the following ways:
- offers a convenient way to share your own availability depending on your free/busy schedules,
- integrates with your TechMail calendar (Outlook),
- is intended for scheduling meeting times with individual users (one-on-one meetings),
- lets you share your Personal Bookings web page with anyone you wish, regardless of whether they have a Microsoft 365 account, and
- allows you to customize your availability, the types of meetings available to schedule (in-person or Teams), and many other options.
You decide who you share your "Bookings with me" page address with, and your specific calendar details will remain hidden. Only your free/busy information is viewable on the page.
Please note that only Personal Bookings is available to the TTU community at this time. Shared Bookings, which allows you and your team members to create shared booking pages, is not available but is being reviewed for future support at TTU.
