Do you want to know more about the world’s languages or religions? Do you want to understand geopolitical conflict better? Do you want to learn more about the different climates around the globe? We’ll look at these topics and more this semester in Regional Geography of the World

GEOG 2351, which fulfills your multi-cultural and social science requirements, is designed to break the world into manageable regions to help you learn more about those regions and the world as a whole. This course is perfect for those thinking about geography as a major but also for those in business, international business, political science, mass communications, information technology, and any field where understanding globalization helps you succeed. By the time you leave the course, you will: 

·                     gain an understanding of the world’s many regions and their cultures 

·                     think critically about globalization and geopolitics 

·                     understand the more about global climates
