The Graduate School is holding the Three Minute Thesis Competition on Thursday, October 3rd. The Three Minute Thesis Competition is a chance for graduate students to share their thesis or dissertation to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes or less and using only one PowerPoint slide. The 2024 competition is an in-person event. Current Masters and Doctoral students are not eligible to participate as judges for this competition.
We are reaching out to faculty and full-time staff to serve as judges for our preliminary round and morning heats. We will have simultaneous heats on Thursday, October 3rd to determine which students will advance to the final on Friday, October 4th. The timing for judging on Thursday morning will be 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. To ensure scores are accurate for all participants, we kindly ask judges to stay for the entire program from 9:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m.
