SW 6370 Special Topics in Social Work: Financial Management:
Any current graduate student at TTU may enroll in this class. The student should check with his/her own advisor to see how this will be included in his/her degree plan.
It will offer:
An introduction to budgeting and financial management
Understanding the difference between public and private sector budgets/management
Agency financial management process, including planning and development
Expense and revenue budgeting
Marketing, fundraising, and grant writing
Grants management at both the federal and state levels
Basics of agency accounting, reporting, audits, and risk assessments
