We are looking for parents and/or guardians of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) to participate in this study. In this study, we will explore social, educational, and technological needs of parents of children with ASD; in particular, we will identify the areas that families need help with. Knowledge obtained from this research can help the researchers to understand the needs of families who have children with ASD and to focus on how technology and other emerging tools better serve, train, and provide support for parents. This study involves a single session in which you will complete a survey and take part in an interview. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and the interview will last approximately 60 minutes. The study will take place at a location that is convenient for you. We will not publish any identifying, personal information from you to protect both yours and your child’s privacy. Participants are free to withdraw from the research study at any time without compensation. There will be $60 compensation for parents who will participate and complete the study. We would appreciate your participation and sharing it along with the recruiting materials to other potential participants.
