Quantum Mechanics I (Physics 4307) is your essential introduction to the strange and powerful rules that govern the microscopic world. This course builds the foundation you need to understand, apply, and innovate with the principles that are driving breakthroughs in quantum computing, nanotechnology, quantum communication, and quantum materials.
Prerequisites: The instructor will teach quantum mechanics in a pedagogical manner to ensure that students can follow the material even if they have not completed the required prerequisites. However, it is strongly recommended that you consult with the instructor (not just the academic advisor and/or course coordinator) before overriding the prerequisites.
