TEACHING ACADEMY ANNOUNCES LAWRENCE SCHOVANEC TEACHING DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

The Texas Tech University Teaching Academy is very pleased to announce the 2018 Lawrence Schovanec Teaching Development Scholarships. The objective of the scholarships is to provide funding for faculty members to attend conferences that impact their teaching effectiveness. The Academy will offer several scholarships up to $1,500 each. All tenure-track and tenured faculty, full-time professors of practice, and full-time instructors, are eligible for the scholarships.

Applications will be reviewed by the Teaching Academy Lawrence Schovanec Scholarship Selection Committee. Recipients of the scholarship will be recognized at the 2019 Teaching Academy New Member Induction Ceremony, and they will participate in a poster presentation during the 2019 Teaching Academy John M. Burns Conference. The deadline for submitting applications is November 16, 2018.
