Microsoft to Require Modern Authentication for TechMail starting October 1, 2022
Microsoft has announced that they will no longer support a legacy, insecure email authentication method called “basic authentication” on 10/1/2022. Account owners who were using basic authentication were notified directly in early August by ITHC.
